About
Music has always been important to me. From a young age music has been able to touch or move me. My parents even remmber that I cried to a composition of Bach as a little baby.
During my childhood most of the music I liked I got to know trough my parents. Only when I approached my teenage years did I really start to appreciate more of today’s electronic music, even though that’s mostly what I make nowadays. As a kid I’ve been trying out the piano at home and for a while (around the last few years of elementary school) I had guitar lessons. This far back in time I hadn’t really been composing yet, apart from a few things I remember doing on piano. And, a weird song about sunscreen…
Anyways, it must have been probably 2017 or perhaps a little earlier when that started to change. Musical inspiration, mostly melodies and simple beats started popping up in my head more and more. And, at least as important, I got acces to some technological pieces. Being, a spartphone of my own and my parents laptop. On my phone I started using its voice recorder app to record myself playing the piano or guitar, but mostly, me humming, beatboxing and even a little singing. Apart from that some recordings of random sounds I liked from thunderclaps to me opening a little pot of pesto. Nowadays I’ve got over a 1000 of those recordings.Back in 2017, I was making music on my parents laptop with ‘notation composer’. Not the most advanced software available, but it worked at the time. With help from my uncle (someone you’ll hear more from later on) I got myself an actual DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) in 2019: Cubase Elements 10.5. And Besides that and audio interface, studio monitors (speakers) and a good pair of headphones. Since then I have slowly but steadily been taking composing music more serious. Lately I have even been doing quite a bit of sound design and somehow that results in a noticeble quality increase in my resent projects. But there is still a lot I have to learn and expand the software and hardware I have. After all, most of the road is still ahead of me.
As of now. (Dit kan misschien naar ‘Blog’)
– I have picked up taking guitar lessons again. On a weekly basis I go to my uncle to learn and practice on the guitar, and soon we’ll take a deep dive into music production aswell to widen the range of sounds and instruments I use, and improve the overall quality of my tracks.
– In the meantime I have upgraded my DAW to Cubase 13 Pro and I also bought (and upgraded) FL Studio to the All Plugins Edition (Since I had worked on other projects away from home with FL, sometimes with other people). Big sales for the software came in handy. 😉

My music:
Most of what I make is electronic (dance) music. Predominantly Trap and House, but also Drum&Bass, Rythm&Blues, Dubstep, and many other subgenres like Future Bass, Drill, Phonk, and more.
Apart from that I’ve made some Jazz and Swing, Rock, Metal, Country, you name it. I even enjoy composing orchestrap pieces quite a lot. And not to forget, mixing genres is something I really love to do.
There aren’t many projects I have managed to finish yet, but with some of them I’m getting close.
Have a listen:
– Trap Metal
– The City
– Old school synth house
– Spraak 183 project
– Chill Trap
